The Council for Aluminium in Buildings (CAB) had worked with a previous supplier for many years before allowing Sounds Commercial to handle their event production in June 2017 and, after being blown away by our service and expertise, we were very pleased to be invited to look after their 2018 Annual Dinner & AGM. Needless to say, we were very keen to maintain the high levels of service that had encouraged their repeat business.
Sport was clearly on the agenda for CAB allowing them to take full advantage of every inch of the impressive venue grounds and facilities. The day tee-d off with some fine golf strokes in the glorious sunshine and arrangements had been put in place to allow their guests to watch the England – World Cup Group Game later that day in the Marquee as well as in the AGM being held in the Woodland Suite.

Following a grand drinks reception, 300 guests made their way to the Marquee for an awards presentation and dinner to remember. With the evening’s after dinner entertainment provided by TV’s Comedian – Miles Jupp.

CAB and the guests were impressed by our stylish and functional set design which allowed them to proudly display the logos of event sponsors. The AV specification gave them exceptional audio clarity for the range of microphones in use and the music selection. A crisp display was achieved by the 10,600 DLP Panasonic projectors with ultra-short throw lenses to maximise the space within the Marquee, and the lighting package was tailored to specification to light the presentation area and the room as a whole which enhanced the quality of the image for the live camera relay.

A lot of time and energy went in to the planning and execution of this event and it was great to see everything come together and give such a positive end result.
